This is not a dating app: there’s no endless feed, no swiping, and no public directory. It’s a meticulously designed matchmaker built to introduce you to highly compatible partners worth considering for connection, and ultimately, biblical covenant marriage.

The people doing the matching
WBC Matchmaking has partnered with Hebrew Shebrew. What follows is their story, in their own words.
Finding a spouse who shares your faith, values and deep love for Torah shouldn't feel impossible — and that is why this ministry exists.
My journey began in 1997 while attending Bible college and serving in young adult ministry. When I began following Torah my vision expanded, and in 2010 I set out to create a dedicated space where Torah-observant believers did not have to compromise on their faith to find true love. It grew into purposeful introductions — connecting people through Facebook groups and Sukkot gatherings.
Having walked through the season of waiting myself, I know firsthand what it takes to find a lifelong partner. In early 2020 I met my husband, Mark. After our own intentional courtship we were married in June 2020. Today Mark serves right alongside me, bringing invaluable whole-Bible insight on how to navigate relationships and walk faithfully with God as a team. We live in Middle Tennessee with our sweet three-year-old son, where we are actively involved in our local Torah community.
Together we bring real-talk encouragement, genuine empathy and battle-tested guidance to everyone we coach. Watching couples gain clarity, drop the guesswork of courtship and walk down the aisle together is our greatest joy.
If you are ready to seek marriage with purpose and build a life rooted in faith, we cannot wait to help you write your love story.
How it works
- 01
Answer the essentials
Seven categories covering faith, marriage, family, communication and the practical shape of a shared life. You can add the rest whenever you like — each one sharpens your matches.
- 02
Verify your identity
Once. Your document is deleted from our storage the moment a reviewer approves or rejects it. What we keep is the conclusion, not the document.
- 03
Up to five matches a week
The same ones all week, with what you have in common and what is worth talking about. No infinite scroll, because that is not how anyone chooses a spouse.
- 04
Interest, both ways
Nobody can message you until you have both said yes. When you have, a conversation opens inside the WBC messenger platform.
How the matching works
Arithmetic, not a black box. Five rules govern every score.
It is compared both ways
How well they fit what you asked for, and how well you fit what they asked for. Two people can be very alike and still not be looking for what the other offers, so one number in one direction would flatter one of you and mislead the other.
Not every question weighs the same
Sabbath observance and children are foundational. Hobbies and learning style are not. The weight of each question is set by the ministry, and multiplied by how much you personally said it matters.
Up to seven non-negotiables
A real boundary, and a small number of them, so they stay real decisions. When one is not met the pair is held for a person to look at — never quietly scored low and shown to you anyway.
Distance never lowers a score
Where someone lives is shown next to the match and used to break a tie. It is not part of the compatibility, because it is not a measure of it.
Every number can be explained
No AI, no black box. It is arithmetic, and each result traces back to the questions that produced it. What you see about a match is the topic, never the answer they gave.
Privacy is not a setting here. It is the default.
They see
- Your preferred name, not your legal one
- Your age, not your date of birth
- The photos you chose
- Your compatibility, and the topics behind it
They never see
- Your email, phone number or address
- The answers you gave to any question
- Your identity document, which no longer exists
- Anything a matchmaker wrote about you
